Sad to hear that legendary jazz trumpeter, cartoonist, author, and calligraphist Humphrey Lyttelton has died at age 86.
Lyttelton also was the long-time host of the witty, chaotically improvisational, and often very, very naughty BBC Radio show, “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.” His on-air persona of the this-is-all-beneath-me host was deadpan and impeccable.
So long, Humph -- the world has lost one of its greatest double-entendre provocateurs.
