Like kryptonite to fact-checkers

Funny, isn't it, what the New York Times takes great pains to correct and what it doesn't.

From the "Corrections" column for May 11, 2005:
The David Pogue column in Business Day on April 28, about Apple Computer's new operating system, Mac OS X 10.4, referred incorrectly to a plot element in the "Superman" movies. The cosmic prison that held three villains - an image that the column likened to the vertical panels in Apple's teleconference software - appeared at the start of "Superman: The Movie" and again at the start of "Superman II," not at the end of "Superman II."
Well, I'm glad that matter has been cleared up.
