Brave enough to clip on the electrodes and whip out the tactical nukes, wussy boy?

From Glenn Greenwald’s The Giuliani Moderation Fallacy.
But even if [Rudy Giuliani] were Noam Chomsky on social issues, the term "moderate" would be the least accurate term for Giuliani. He has one of the most extremist and war-loving foreign policy teams ever assembled for a major candidate. He has advocated or expressed openness to such radical policies as imprisoning American citizens with no trials, having Israel join NATO, and launching a first-strike tactical nuclear attack on Iran. And he speaks more glibly than virtually any individual in the country about torture.
Let’s face it: the concepts of Republican, Democrat, conservative, liberal, and moderate are now defunct. There are only neoconservatives and non-neoconservatives in American politics.

Oh, sure, in between bouts of preemptive invasions and resource pillaging, some politicians may dabble in rabid culture warrior-ing and melodramatic protector-ing of the preborn just to cheer up certain segments of their constituencies, while others may bewail the erosion of civil liberties and the lack of universal healthcare just to cheer up certain segments of their constituencies -- but basically it’s now all about an official’s willingness to clip on the electrodes and whip out the tactical nukes.
