Sorry for the light posting. I'm dealing with some grown-up stuff, which I hate to do (in the first place) and which, despite my long membership in the grown-up cohort, I'm terrible at doing (in the second place). So I've been tuning out pretty much anything else other than Sandra Dee movies on AMC. I've finally come to grasp the underpinnings of such Cold War cinematic dreck: If you're willing to completely surrender to the inanity, it is indeed possible to forget about nuclear annihilation -- and other grown-up stuff -- for 1 hour and 23 minutes.
