Snackables

Brando autopsies his (fortunately temporary) comedy breakdown as he prepares to enter Slate‘s Comedy News Contest. For the record, my favorites are numbers 9 and 3, which probably reveals more about my age than my sense of humor.

Doghouse Riley pens an ode in reverse to Karen Hughes, and confesses that “the lure of Bush administration nostalgia [is] almost irresistible, now that the man himself is reduced to playing a community theatre Miss Havisham.”

And don’t miss Roy Edroso’s wonderful exegesis of Peanuts. Make sure to read the comments too.
