Barely audible on the twang-o-meter

So Bush gave another major speech on Iraq, but the media were more excited about one unfortunate death in Miami than about anything our president might have to say on how we're going to cakewalk out of Iraq.

The twang-harangue was completely absent from this speech, which concentrated on the fantastic tremendous significant progress things not being blown up in Mosul and Najaf.

For those who like their news from the factosphere and not from the Lincoln Group, WaPo's Dan Froomkin checked around to see how successful the Bush-touted success stories really are.

The reality: "It's too dangerous to allow visitors to inspect them freely."

Well, at least Bush enunciated clearly during this speech.

Oh, and halo-man is back on the White House website.
