On the second day of Fitzmas — a pretty Chatty Cathy doll or several lumps of coal?

Beats the heck out of me. I have no predictions about what Bob Woodward's testimony to Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald will mean to the CIA leak investigation or to Scooter Libby.

Makes sense, doesn't it, that Woodward, who was an unofficial member of the Bush administration during the critical period in question as he researched Plan of Attack, would have heard the phrase "Wilson's wife" at some point.

"'When I think all of the facts come out in this case, it's going to be laughable because the consequences are not that great,' [Woodward] told National Public Radio this summer."

Ho-ho-ho
