From a NYT correction for a story on the recess appointment of John Bolton

Correction: Wednesday, Aug 3:

A front-page article yesterday about the decision by President Bush to use a recess appointment to install John R. Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations misstated the number of years Mr. Bush has been in office, a period in which he has made 105 other recess appointments. It is four and a half years, not five and a half.
