Life and death in America's intellectual Munchkinland

It's 6:15 am eastern time and let the stupidity begin on CNN.
CAROL COSTELLO: Here's what's all new this morning.

A suicide bomber targets a large crowd of police recruits in the northern Iraqi city of Irbil. The attack has killed at least 47 people and wounded more than 100.

In money news, Toyota may be starting down a new road. "USA Today" reports the car maker may start building a gas electric version of its popular Camry sedan in Kentucky. It would be Toyota's first U.S.-made hybrid.

In culture, a new book looks behind-the-scenes of the classic movie "The Wizard of Oz." "Memories of A Munchkin" was written by Meinhardt Raabe. He's the one who announced the death of the Wicked Witch of the East. . . .
Who is responsible for picking out these items? The first one is obviously breaking news. The second item is at this point a mere possibility. And the last item is ridiculously inappropriate when you consider that just mere seconds before a tape of the suicide bombing's aftermath was shown, including a large pond of watered-down blood.

Good morning sleepyheads! Here's the blood of some dead Iraqi people, here's a picture of a car not yet made in America, and here's a munchkin. You can now consider yourself a well-informed American for the rest of the day.
