Courtesy of President Richard Nixon and Senator Robert Byrd, Morgantown (WV) has pod cars. While the personal rapid transit cars technically are not pod cars, they’re nifty nonetheless. Morgantown’s PRT system has been in service for more than 30 years, and has been astonishingly safe and reliable.
